At airports, seaports, office buildings, and other mass gathering areas, our thermal cameras are forming the first line of defense for public health organizations and industries faced with managing the risks associated with a global pandemic. These groups are using our thermal imaging cameras and screening software for the initial screening needed to help detect people with signs of elevated skin temperature, or EST. Once identified, these people can be checked with a medical device to see if they have a fever, one of the symptoms of a coronavirus or other flu infection. This is a simple but effective way to help prevent the spread of virus among larger populations.
